Subaru EyeSight® Driver Assist
Adaptive Cruise Control
The smart Adaptive Cruise Control function maintains the speed range set by the driver, but also tracks the vehicle in front and automatically adjusts your speed to ensure you remain at a constant, pre-set distance. The distance maintained from the vehicle in front can be adjusted via the EyeSight® steering wheel button, to suit the speed you are travelling.
Lane Departure Warning
Maintain your sporty driving lines effortlessly and safely, with this EyeSight® feature which watches the road lane markings and constantly monitors your vehicle’s position within them. It then alerts you, via an audible and visual warning, if it detects that the vehicle is potentially moving out of the lane.
Pre-Collision Braking System
This autonomous braking system helps the driver slow down or come to a complete stop if a car, pedestrian or obstacle is detected in front of the vehicle by the EyeSight® cameras. The system alerts the driver and if they fail to take evasive action, the brakes can be applied automatically to help prevent a potential impact.

Reverse Automatic Braking (RAB)
Feel a genuine connection to your surroundings when you’re reversing. BRZ’s rear sonar sensors will alert you if an object is detected behind the vehicle. Then if you don’t react to the warning, Reverse Automatic Braking can apply the brakes if a collision is imminent. Available on automatic transmission BRZ variants, this function helps avoid or reduce the severity of a rear collision.
Blind Spot Monitor
Using rear radar sensors, Blind Spot Monitor can detect approaching vehicles and warn the driver. A warning light appears on the side mirror to indicate the presence of a vehicle in the blind spot and if the driver indicates to move out of their lane, the light will flash a further warning.
High Beam Assist
Monitoring the road ahead, High Beam Assist (HBA) supports the driver by adjusting the head lamps to the conditions. In low light conditions HBA can automatically turn on high beam to provide a deeper field of vision if there’s an empty road ahead. While HBA will switch to low beam when an oncoming vehicle is detected.
